I have taught in Italy, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. I have taught in a range of school types, from a large state academy to independent boarding and day schools. Most recently, I led and developed a successful and thriving sixth form, in Abu Dhabi.

With a degree in English Literature, I enjoy sharing my passion for literature whilst encouraging critical thinking, and it is my love of the subject, and a wish to share my love for that subject, that led me to becoming (and still enjoy being) an educator.

I am a strong advocate for a positive education approach and believe in taking a holistic approach to every child's academic, social, and emotional development.

In my spare time, I like to read, do some yoga, meditate, write, listen to music, run, go to the gym, occasionally rollerskate and I am currently learning to watercolour (wildflowers, mainly).
