STAFF PROFILE - TEACHER / HEAD OF HOUSE EVENTS, STUDENT VOICE & LEADERSHIP

jamie hoyle

I am to empower students to find their voice, take responsibility and make a positive difference in our school community. Through student leadership, student voice, house events and our Family programme, I aim to create opportunities for every student to feel valued, connected and confident to lead.”

After graduating from the University of Exeter, my career in education began with teaching English as a foreign language in South Korea. A newfound passion for helping children reach their full potential then led me to train as a maths teacher through Teach First.

I taught in the north of England for 4 years, during which time I always strived to create inquisitive, supportive learning environments for students. I am also proud to have led my previous school's teaching and learning committee to facilitate my colleagues' professional development.

ABOUT MR HOYLE

Outside of school, I'm very sporty, with a particular love for golf and football. I also have a passion for travel, which is what brought me to Lisbon, and I'm excited to explore what the city has to offer.
