After working as a teaching assistant for two years in Lisbon, I decided to completely change careers and moved to Dubai. There, I worked as an Emirates flight attendant, which was one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life.

While travelling to so many beautiful countries, I had the opportunity to grow and learn by getting to know different cultures, people who inspired and made me see the world with different eyes, and most importantly, made me truly value my own country and everything in it. When I returned to Portugal I was lucky to find an opportunity at The British School of Lisbon - a place that empowers not only their students to be their best selves but all of the BSL team as well.

My goal is to make all of the students, parents and my colleagues feel like I do when I come to school - joyful, cared for and excited for the future!

ABOUT MS MONTEIRO

As someone with a collection of nearly 100 puzzles, I am almost always piecing a new one together. I also enjoy doing sudokus, nonograms, cryptograms (basically any type of puzzle you can find!). Whenever I do leave my house, I am either going for a Pilates class, the gym, or to balance it out, a sweet treat with my friends and family.
