Choosing a school is about more than curriculum, it’s about finding an educational community where your child can belong.
We encourage all prospective parents to book a school tour to experience our school and facilities first-hand. Our admissions department will be delighted to show you around our campuses and answer any questions you may have about the British School of Lisbon.
Whether you are already living in Lisbon or planning a move to Portugal, you can arrange an in-person or virtual tour using the form below.
Two campuses, one school
BSL is divided between two welcoming campuses in Lisbon, connected by the river Tejo.
Our Cais do Sodré campus is home to Nursery, Reception and Years 1–5.
Our Restelo campus welcomes students from Year 6 onwards, providing a setting designed around the needs of older students.
A regular shuttle bus connects the campuses. If you are exploring places for children in different year groups, we can help you plan visits to both campuses.
What to expect during your visit
Your visit will include time with our admissions team, a tour around the campus and an opportunity to talk about the matters most important to your family.
That might be our curriculum, how students settle in, extracurricular activities or the move into secondary school. Where timetables allow, we will also arrange for you to meet a member of the teaching or leadership team.
