STAFF PROFILE - LEAD FRENCH (& PORTUGUESE & SPANISH TEACHER
Anthony Walker
“IT IS MY AIM, ALWAYS, TO CREATE A SPACE WHERE STUDENTS FEEL CONFIDENT TO PARTICIPATE AND ENJOY LANGUAGE”
I read Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Portuguese) at the University of Oxford where I completed an academic sojourn at L'Université de Montpellier Paul Valéry.
As part of my course, I completed an Erasmus traineeship in a secondary school in Azambuja, Portugal. After graduating, I trained as an MFL teacher in London.
As both a student and teacher of languages, I understand the importance of the right environment for learning. It is my aim, always, to create a space where students feel confident to participate and enjoy language.
Outside of teaching, I love reading, playing music, and all things sports. I will talk to anyone about football (as long as it's about Liverpool FC).
