STAFF PROFILE - COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER
Matthew Nash
“MY LESSONS ARE ENERGISED, CREATIVE AND FOSTER CURIOSITY ON HOW THE SUBJECT RELATES TO REAL-WORLD SITUATIONS, PROBLEMS, AND APPLICATIONS.”
Teaching Computer Science means keeping pace with developments in the fastest changing subject that students study. Having previously worked globally on developing systems in international retail and marketing, a 1 year sabbatical to gain understanding of the education of my children resulted in 16 years of teaching Computer Science in the UK and Germany.
I aim to enable students to gain a full understanding of the technology that dominates their everyday life and empower them with great skills and digital literacy. My lessons in Computer Science are energised, creative and foster curiosity on how the subject relates to real-world situations, problems, and applications.
