My own experience navigating international school environments as a child is central to how I approach teaching. Having lived across five countries, Brazil, Sweden, France, Switzerland, and now Portugal, I understand the effort and courage language learning requires, and I bring that understanding to every student I meet.

I speak Portuguese, English, and French, and have studied Spanish and German along the way. I hold a CELTA certification, have spent five years teaching EAL in Portuguese and international schools, and am currently completing a degree in Applied Linguistics at Universidade Aberta.

As I bring that experience to the Portuguese teaching world, I want students to feel the full reach of what they are learning. I believe Portuguese is not only essential for those living here, but also a key to connecting with the rich and diverse cultures of the CPLP countries.

Outside the classroom, I have a soft spot for Nimas, secret green spaces, and natural wine. I host dinner parties with some regularity and usually have a niche creative project underway in my art studio.
